I recall a Buddhist story worth repeating.
A rich, powerful warlord approaches the master and asks, “Master, what is humility?”
The master looks the warlord up and down then says, curtly, “And just who on earth are you to waste my precious time with your insignificant, foolish, and childish questions?”
Upon hearing this, the warlord trembles with rage! As he pulls out his sword, preparing to slay the master, the master softly tells, “THAT! What you are feeling now. That is NOT humility.”
And the master walks away.
